Latin and ballroom, from your first step to the competition floor. 20 years of professional career — and I still take the beginners course personally.

Who teaches you
Founder & head coach · Latin
20 years of professional dance career. I grew up in competition halls and I teach the way I was taught: posture first, then rhythm, then the room disappears.
Most people arrive telling me they have no sense of rhythm. They are usually wrong — what they have is no vocabulary yet. My beginners course gives you 8 weeks, one partner-free hour a week, and enough steps to hold your own at any wedding in the country.
For couples preparing a first dance, and for competitive students, I coach one to one on the same floor, in the same room, with the same music.
What I teach
Courses run in 8-week blocks. No partner needed — come alone or with a friend.
Waltz, foxtrot and quickstep from the frame up.
Cha-cha and rumba basics. Come alone or bring a friend.
Hip action, footwork and timing for your second year.
Choreography work for the seasonal showcase.
A routine built for your song, your venue and your shoes.
One-to-one preparation with an adjudicator's eye.
“We booked two lessons for our wedding and stayed for the season. Maria corrects one thing at a time, and it holds.”
